keepin busy..

Lyla is pretty good at entertaining herself, especially when there is laundry out. She will pull the clothes in and out of the basket for quiet a long time, its pretty funny to watch her.

Oh the days of getting free candy.. they are the best! We actually trick or treated like 3 different times this year, it was a lot of costumes and candy. There is this really cute street down in St. Charles that did Halloween on Friday, it was packed with hundreds of kids, so fun to sit and check out costumes.

I cannot believe my little bestie is a year old, this past year has gone by soooo fast. We have had a lot of changes this past year and little Lyla has been the best part.

first of all maya had her birthday,

she is three years old.. yeah!

to celebrate she had ten sausages for breakfast..

little mini is so stinkin cute these days, almost a year old. crawling all over, standing up to furniture, sleeping in own crib, eating everything, loves dancing and just so so so cute. i cant get enough of her
she loves giving kisses and chasing me around as i vacuum.

lyla has always loved books but lately she has been pointing to everything on the page with her little finger, its the cutest thing.

Balloon Glow

Last night we headed down to Forrest Park for the balloon glow.

It was super cool.

Today there is actually a race between these hot air balloons,

so last night they had all the balloons lit up and you could get up close and just imagine how radical it would be to go up up up in one...

I seriously took a million pictures bit my lameooo camera wasn't so hot last night.

Life is pretty good when you get to wake up to this.....

And then spend all day doing this.....

Last week we got home from our three week vacation..
Its was fab.
Got some good family time in..
and friend time in..
but mostly we got some much needed mountain time in...
