I got to go climbing again, in the uintahs, totally awesome.

So my wife again is the most wonderful, understanding, and patient lady ever, last saturday I got to meet up with a crew of friends and hit up a new crag at notch lake in the Uintahs. The weather was beautiful, the views were outstanding, and the climbing suprisingly superb.


This is the view from the wall, notice that there is no people or roads, which is quite rare for sport climbing areas. Getting to the crag consisted of a chill 3 mile hike through the forest, and the wall had ten or so quality climbs

Leroy can still send! whoo hoo! notice his helmet though, very important piece of equipment. Someone mentioned that this type of view is picturesque for a super cheesy corporate office team photo with the words "_________", use your imagination. I would have put radical, but that's just me.

I am certain that if maya comes up with the solution to the philosophical insight she is pursuing in this photo, she will forever live in the land of a thousand lakes with phish.

so two weekends ago LeRoy went to St. Louis for the first ever estrogen free trip since he has been married, and oh boy how much he missed that estrogen, it's good stuff really. A late father's day weekend trip to watch the Cardinals and hang with the boys.

photo of the folks back yard in st. louis. so stinking awesome, It was so relaxing to wake up and sit on the porch and listen tot he birds sing their pretty songs and watch us boys try to shoot the squirells with a pellet gun (it isn't strong enought to kill, only scare). I would love to have a yard like this for our kids, it would be so amazing, however they den would start to talk like one o dem hill billy types and never getta get in to class at skool and get demselves one of dem educated peoples lives and stay nice n ugly, you now nice n ugly like dem local folks here in this here town.

4th of July 2009. Bah blamo, well emily really, honestly, not even exaggerating made the most fantastic, taste bud exploding, super stupendous chicken any one has ever tasted, I don't even want to know what was in them, they were that good.

the pool party totally rocked though, this is the crew, well some of the youngsters and myself shredding the summer!

for everyone who has not hiked at mount timpanogos in the summer, shame on you, now we will be stopping to unboard the passengers who haven't figured out how magical it really is. This stop is concentric to our departure location, have a nice day. no really, get up there so I can stop yelling over the internet please.

this is the time to get up to timpanogos, flowers everywhere, lots of water, cool temperatures, so wonderful, well if you like being outside and being radical and stuff

my wife is the most beautiful woman in the world, I am so grateful to have her carrying our child around and am so excited that she's willing to go hiking and enjoy the mountains with me. it's truly special.

don't even think for a second that this beautiful little girl would not make it onto the fourth of july post. Linds and I love this dang dog so much.

this is how we all felt after the weekend, exhausted. On the fourth in the evening after our hike we went to pc to shred with emily & will, Lena & that guy who we aren't sure of, and elliot & nancy to watch the fireworks which were awesome.
