A bonus about Tylers school is the long three weeks that he has between school sessions.
Def a good time to take a trip back home and visit our peeps. There was a lot going on in Utah, Easter festivities, graduation party, lunch with the girlfriends, bbq with our crew, hiking, sailing, climbing and lots of time to sit and watch Lyla play with all her grandparents and cousins..

You always think you take way more pictures than you do, Im so sad I didnt end up with very many from all of our adventures..

Lylas new friend Jace, hes pretty dang cute and Lyla is sooo cute with him. She is such a little mother. She always wants to feed him, hold him, give him binks and take him night night.. It seriously cracks me up. Lately she is really into playing with her kitchen, dolly, using her vacuum and wanting to sweep the kitchen floor. Such a little girl watching her mamma.. I love it!

Chillen at the park, it was a super hot day. We had a bbq with some friends, sadly the camera battery died so not many photos...

Lylas new favorite thing is corn on the cob..

Im pretty excited summerness is here. Pool opening next week! Yeah!

ps.. Lyla had her first tick.. it was a creeper, stuck in her scalp.. I wanted to die...

On Sat we headed to Tys school where they were having some Easter festivities... It was pretty fun, it was freezing cold so the egg hunts were held inside. They has all sorts of animals out to pet.. this little guy was so cute, he kept running inside the school to get warm.. Lyla wasn't sure what to think.. towards the end she finally kissed the camel. Have you ever kissed a camel?

I'm kinda a llama lover.. I think someday Ill get one..)

And she is off,.. (we had to pretend she was two in order to hunt for eggs..) We took her all the way to the back so she wouldn't get trampled.. Shes kinda small ya know...

She pretty much scored a ton of Hershey kisses.. mmmmm.

The weather is St. Lou has been pretty perfect the last week.. today it is close to 80.. oh how good it feels... I already had to turn on the ac in the car. it felt so nice.

This past weekend we went to Indiana. I was super lame and didn't take any photos (except for at the rest stop on the way home.) boo. Tylers dad was giving a lecture so we jumped in for a weekend away. We visited a really cool civil war museum, ate some good food and enjoyed seeing something new. Lyla was obsessed with the elevators, always wanting to push the buttons and loved roaming around the floors of the hotel. Her new favorite thing is unrolling the tp.. its great fun.

When we got home I sat and watched the Academy Awards, Tyler had to study so little Lyla just plopped herself on the floor and colored for and hour or so.. So cute!
