The Cardinals played the Phillies. It was a sweet game. The stadium was pretty sweet too. Cardinals are number 1. I am a fan.

Lake of the Ozarks.

Last weekend we headed a few hours away to the Lake of the Ozarks. TJ and Ansley have a family home down there right on the lake, it was super awesome. We went hiking, ate some great food and laughed a lot! Thanks friends it was super duper fun. Having a little throwing contest... Grapes to the dock... Yes, we were all sore the next day.. even Ty.

The boys played in the water all day, diving, jumping doing the usual ninja stuff into the water.. It was kinda nasty water so the moms and babes stuck to the pool.

The views from the deck were awesome. On Sunday a nasty storm rolled though which led to the tornado sirens going off. It was kinda freaky. For a second I though I was going to die.. Haha.

First 4th of July here in St.Louis, we figured we better hit up the parade. It was long and interesting... We got lots of candy...No taffy though, is that a Utah thing?

It was actually really cool to experience a parade in a larger city, lots of randomness going on.


Lyla was just so dang cute, some man handed out flags and her little hands just held on to those flags for a good hour.

So after the parade there was an airshow right under the St. Louis Arch, it was pretty radical.

I pretty much love the 4th, def missed the fam though.

When in Utah my parents and I went for a sail on the Great Salt Lake. The weather was so nice so we grabbed some to-go and headed out.

Little Lyla just loved helping grandpa.My parents are such cute little sailors, it was pretty entertaining watching them man the boat. The boat is full of all the hip sailor gear, snacks and sailing games for the wee ones, pretty fun I must say.

Lyla has a new little bestie. Brig and Lyla were so cute together. Brig cant wait for his new sister to arrive!

The fam went up the canyon to celebrate a few birthdays, we had tinfoil dinners. Our family always seems to have a competition with something so this time it was with dinner. Dani and Britti put blue food coloring in their dinner, which was fun. Tess did BBQ chicken, very yummy. Emily did pizza, Aleece did some yummy veggie ones and mom, dad and I did salmon. They were all very very yummy.

It felt so nice to have a fire up in the mountains, staring at the stars, wearing a jacket and not worrying about bugs getting me! It was pretty much dreamy.

Fly me home

Its a new thing for me to fly back to Utah. I have to say its harder to leave family and friends than I thought. Last week Lyla and I flew home for Angelas wedding. We flew standby so we figured we better stay the week. Ty flew in on Friday so we had the whole week to see family and friends before he came. The time actually flew by way to fast and we totally ran out of time. We had such a great time with the fam, went hiking a bunch, had a fire up the canyon, went sailing, pedicures, and laughed so hard playing games.

Little Lyla did amazing for her first flight! Everyone on board was in love with her, she became besties with the flight attendant which I was happy about for I got extra snacks! woot woot!

The Red Cardinal. Isn't he awesome! Just chillen on our patio table. He was looking right at me, it kind of freaked me out. I still cannot get over how many beautiful birds I see everyday. So many trees equals so many birds. Pretty fun.

   

We had a little swim party. Lyla got a new super cool pool buddy. Its super cute. She loves it! She just kicks her little legs and splashes the water around her. Tyler is proud of his awesome goggles. He must have a fashionable father that loaned them to him.
