I had a little extra fabric while sewing something yesterday so I made Lyla a little mini apron.

Its way cute.

She pretty much wore it till bedtime, she loved it.

Castlewood

We went for a little stroll down by the river yesterday.. It was a beautiful day. Lyla loves loves loves walking in the snow...

we had a snow day

On Thursday we had a pretty big storm roll through. We got about 8 inches of snow.. it was pretty epic for Missouri. All schools were closed and I'm pretty sure Ty felt like a kid again missing school to play in the snow.. Its actually snowing right now so its adding up. I really wasn't expecting Missouri to get this much snow, I miss Utah snow and the mountains but it feels pretty nice to have some snow here to play in...

So lately this little miss has been the cutest dang thing ever... Her little sweet meter is so high right now I almost cant take it... I seriously want to just squeeze her every second. I pretty much do, and I'm pretty good at smothering her with kisses too. Tyler and I just laugh for when she was born we were like, oh please don't get any bigger we love you this age. As each month or even week passes by we both catch each other saying that same sentence.. She just keeps getting better and better..

It snowed! Yeah! Missouri has been ultra cold this week so it was fun to actually have some snow to play in the cold weather.. Lyla loves it but has a hard time walking in it so she pretty much sticks to the sidewalks..
Lyla was cold and ready for a nap, she knew right where to go.. I'm telling you she is sooo smart.. Lately she has been picking up so many animal sounds is hilarious! She will just walk around making animal noises and actions.. so so so cute. (elephants are her fav...) thanks Brig..

Lyla also loves to walk around with random pieces of material on her head... last night she was killing me, totally think she is going to grow up to be a nun...

And today Lyla was ultra sweet and carried around her little pony and baby for hours! She would just kiss them, have them kiss each other and make me kiss them..

And tonight she was pretty psyched about her tofu!

And Ty was pretty psyched about his new bff..

Im a pretty lucky lady that I get to spend my days with my little mini..

Lyla has a new obsession with going into the closet and pulling all of Tys shirts off the hanger.. Today we totally caught her in the act.. She was soooo stinkin cute...

welcome 2011

So we pretty much had a rockin party to welcome the new year.. Tyler and I went out the night before to the Yonder Mountain String band show at the Pageant in St. Louis. It was sooo much fun,.. Little baby Lyla had her first semi-sleepover at Ansleys.. she made it till 4am, she must have really missed us..

So on New Years Eve we went over to Ansleys and Tjs.. we rocked it out.. played a little Connect? It was totally hilarious...

So now that its 2011 I guess I need to sit back and make some resolutions... Ill probably just start with sitting back.. haha, soon enough Ill get to the resolution part.)

Santa stopped by...

My oh my how fun it is to wake up Christmas morning with my little babe, dog and husband...

This was my first Christmas away from the fam, it was definatly different but a good one.

I so missed my mammas yummy breakfast though.)

Santa brought Lyla a cute little kitchen full of delish foods..

She loved it!

Christmas definatly comes and goes wayyy to fast, I love it all...
