Last weekend while Ty and Laney were in Texas, Deb and I headed out to Purina Farms for the Haunted Hayloft... It was pretty dang cute.. They had a animal spook alley, dog show, kids were all in costume, story telling, face painting and hay rides..

The animals were absolutely adorable! Here is Lyla talking to the little piggies..

the rents come to visit..

My parents came a few weeks ago to visit.. It was soo nice to sit around and chat it up with them and let them love on their grandkids.. We visited the Arch, ate at some delish restaurants, went walking in Weldon Springs, hit up the zoo, rocked out some frisbee golf, rode ponies at the pumpkin patch and just sat around and chatted.. It was a good good week.

Port Townsend

Ferry ride to Port Townsend.. Totally made me want to live near the water. This place was beautiful! A wee bit cold and cloudy so Im thinking more Southern... We saw a few seals and lots of bobbing logs.)

So Chas and I both had Lyla/Jax within a few weeks of each other and once again had Luke/Summer within weeks.... So fun...

The water was FREEZING! But of course Ty had to take a dip!

We had a pretty fun stay, this island had the cutest little Victorian homes and the most beautiful lush yards.. we ate lots of yummy food, chilled by the water, hit up the farmers market, people watched and enjoyed family..

The adventures began with a 4 hour plane ride to Seattle, oh boy was it an adventure with two wee ones.. Ty and I def had our hands full.. I really dont know how people with more kids travel.. Both Lyla and Luke did amazing, but the luggage.. oh that luggage...

We headed to Seattle for Tylers sister, Natalies wedding. She lives on Whidbey Island which is a ferry ride away from Seattle so we made a pit stop to Pikes Place Market. This was such a cool market full of fresh yummy fish, flowers, fruits/veggies and lots of awesome people watching..)

Surprise!

Shes now two....

She loves her new house.

She really likes to tell people (and dogs) to come in and eat.

Lyla has got to be one of thee cutest kids on the planet.

She really is.

We love her.

She lubs us.

Lyla loves loves to sing, be loud, talk, eat snacks, chew gum, wear bracelets, talk, watch movies, dance, go on errands, play with her friends, talk, push the carts at the grocery store, go outside and play with sticks, take a shower, "try" brothers bink, eat tofu, talk about princess stuff and the list could go on and on..

Last night Tyler and I were just watching her. She is soo funny to watch. Kids are so strange, including Lyla.

We sure do love our little Lyla.

Everytime we go to the Bread Co. Lyla wants one of these M&M cookies, we always tell her no.. So for her 2nd Bday thats what she got, and she chowed that baby down! I asked her (while she had a full mouth) how old she was, she is telling me 1...

The big day came and went..

30.

I really have a small obsession with my birthday. I dont know why, I just really really really love it. Love it.

The day started with the sweetest note from the hub, and an Einsteins bagel (my fav). Later I had a donut date with Lyla from the Donut Palace (must try), dinner with the hub at Yia Yias Euro Bistro

and ended the night with a yummy fruit bouquet from the parents...

Little Lyla was in love with all the" swords" that the fruit came on..

Pretty good day I must say,

writing this I realize how much my day revolved around eating..

Im so 30.
