We ventured over to Illinois a few weekends ago and went to Eckerts Farm to pick apples. Lyla loved it! She mainly loved the fact that you could snack on the apples while you picked. I think we all ate way too many apples that day. Pretty fun little place, and the restaurant was pretty delish too! Ty and his dad ate all you can eat fried chicken, apparently its the goods. We finished it off with some hot apple pie! Yum!
Most of the food served comes from the farm, and there is a grocery store where we scored some apple chicken sausages that were sooooo good, also from the farm. Luke was a champ and slept the whole time! Hes so cute.)
