A great idea from washington.

Reading the economic stimulus package of president Obama would be equivalent to reading multiple phone books. It not only is incredibly long and dry, most of us don't have time to read it. This post is about a quick way for us to better understand how this money is being spent. Hopefully I am slow, and you all know about the website www.recovery.gov and I am talking to the choir. But if you didn't know about it, check it out, put it on your favorites list, check it often, and get involved in understanding how this money is being spent becuase it effets us all. This is a great idea from washington becuase it gives us the empirical evidence needed to cast judgment to either be grateful for this package, and satisfied with the ways our local government is spending our money, or legitimate reasons to be dissatisfied, becuase whether we liked the idea initially or not, we got the money so we might as well track what it is doing to our state. my wife, whom is the sweetest and most understanding woman in the world often gives into my psyche for continuing my hyperactive (what she thinks dangerous, not really) lifestyle and has realized the prison like atmosphere which a 9-5 job subjects individuals to. as many of you know. so, she let me hang with team send this morning, and has once previously a few weekends ago to go backcountry skiing. the mid week dawn ascent is much needed when the mountains have recieved 19 inches of fresh snow and your surrounded by an office of windows. how cruel. So here is some footage of will skiing patsy marley this morning which is the west facing slope east of alta ski area, a favorite of team send and companies. I wished that the sun would have been more risen for better depiction of how deep the snow was but this I can't do anything about. I have more videos of skiing that I have been hesitant to put up that might ruin the suprise to my friends at the end of the season but whatev. i'll start posting them. enjoy

The other day we went up for a morning hike in the foothills, the wind was blowing like crazy... it felt good to feel the earth and hike in the dirt..

We were just sitting around filming Maya the other day, then we hooked the camera up to the TV. Maya was so confused and just stared at the TV, she could hear herself squeaking her toy, it was totally funny.

Took Morgan and Calean up Millcreek for a little hike, they were so delighted to be playing in the snow.. Dont you love thier cute little hats?

our dog is so beautiful and lonely, she has many made up friends, randy (the rock), mike (the monkey), larry(the lobster), although she also loves inatimate objects laying around the house. note the toy in her mouth (troy the turtle). enjoy

Everyone deserves MUSIC!!!

The last week has felt pretty eventful. Last weekend we made the trek to Salmak to visit Ariel and Thane, went to the movie, made it up to see some Sundance tunes.. (and Micheal Phelps... hes strange..) This week we headed to PC to see Micheal Franti play on Main St. Next day headed back to PC to see the Aerial World Cup.. Busy week of driving up to PC right?. yeah, I know...


Milan and I chillen in Deer Valley, if you look really hard you can see the skier in the air doing some 360-backwards-flip insane jump... Those people skiers are crazy..

Coleman, Ty and I bundled in PC to see Franti.. It felt rather nice to be outside seeing music..

What a unique day today was in American history. Whether you voted for Barack or not, which I hope you all did, this was a truly beautiful moment for a black American to finally become president and show the world that our country truly is full of hope. Hopefully you all watched the speech today but if you did not you should. It was very good

the friz is old....

Birthday morning... he was too tired to get out of bed to open his presents so I brought them to him in bed... draped with a new shirt while holding an avalung.. apparently those things are to keep you breathing in case of an avalanche... lets just hope he never has to use it..

Texas Roadhouse... mmm, so so delicious.. Ty had to straddle this lovely seat while the crew sang happy birthday. he was a bit embarrassed(look at his face), especially when the boys talked the crew into doing it again...

The boys are ready for some MEAT!!! (fyi, don't ever and I mean EVER try to go to Texas ROadhouse on a Friday night with a group of twelve... eyeyeyeye...)

Mother and Ash decided to get a little creative and make a cake resembling Half Dome.. Ty is pointing to the little climber, it tasted delicious too! Nice work girls....T is now the big 27....Birthdays are great eh?...

While the air has been nasty we needed to get out and enjoy some real fresh air.... MillCreek always seems to do the job..

Mozarts Grand Piano Concert

Last weekend we headed down to Abravanel Hall for the symphony. It was super impressive, im pretty sure the last time I was at Abravanel was for my HS graduation and the last time I went to the symphony was hmmm, who knows.. anyhow it turned out to be a grand event.

Brrrrr... its been a super cold last couple of days but with the blue skies we couldn't resist spending our time in the mountains... Up Millcreek with the little pup...

Me, Ty, Emily and Will up at Alta, I'm pretty sure my toes, fingers plus my face had frost bite.... The boys were so sweet to spend the day with their ladies on the beginner slopes... Nothing beats hot chocolate and french fries after a cold day of skiing...

So I really have the most sweetest dog... for Christmas she got lots and lots of new toys,, all with squeakers., so funny. she just romps around playing with one toy and then another.. I tell ya she makes Ty and I smile so much!

I pretty much have the best husbee since the existence of man... Christmas morning I opened up this.... How freakin cute is that?
